Default Help with my wave on 2014 Mondo

So I am trying to get my surf wave with decent distance and height. I have the manual surf tabs. I did add 750 lbs of a front ballast which is integrated with my center tank. I still have the stock rear bags which are 400lbs each. I am thinking of upgrading my rear ballast now...anyone have any suggestions on anything else I can do to improve my wave? Buying a new boat is not an option lol...

You need 900's or 1100's in the rear.

^^^^^^ +1. No need for a new boat, you have a 2014 - load up on ballast.

Did you try searching threads on here?

Also, look on here and on wake world for "suck gate". I'm sure others will chime in, they work on other models.

+1 on the need for more rear ballast! On my 2014 LSV (I also have the manual Flow tabs), I upgraded the stock rear 650's to 900's and it made a huge difference. And I actually now use the old 650's as additional ballast under the seats on the surf side that I fill/empty with a Tsunami pump. The wave shape and length are massively improved and you'll stop asking yourself if you need to buy a new boat

Also, you may want to GPS-check your digital speedo. Mine was ~2mph too high, so when I set the digital cruise to 11mph I was actually going 13mph and wondering why my wave kept washing out ....

400lbs are pointless on these boats, 900-1100 in the rears or fugedaboudit
