Wake plate gauge, any ideas???
So I have a 2004 launch ssv and for some reason my wake plate gauge is not working. The wake plate will still raise and lower but the gauge is just staying pegged and not moving along with the plate. I have checked all connections and fuses and all seems to be good. Anyone have any ideas?
Also if I were to replace it, anyone have an idea where I could find a replacement?
Thanks!

I would call Atlanta Marine and talk with Cyndi.

Check for 12v and ground at to the gauge then follow the wiring to make sure it isn't damaged. Wire goes to a coil inside the starboard actuator. The voltage changes as metal rod inside the actuator moves through the coil.
They have great tech support. http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/contact/2005 Mobius LSV

So mine is doing the same thing checked all wiring looks good checked the voltage and if I use the yellow wire as hot the voltage fluctuates from 7.6v when plate is up to 3v when down so it seems like the sending unit is working...guessing I just need a new gauge? Where do I order one? Thanks!

The gauge is a lot easier to replace than the sending unit and probably about the same price. I just replaced my sending unit this week. A PIA but works perfectly now.
