Wow that is really crazy! Sorry to see that. How could someone do that much damage without noticing it? It looks like they forgot to put the pad on the hook and loop disc or had a lot of grit on the pad.

Ya this just totally sucks. I'm chomping at the bit to talk to the service manager tomorrow. I was hoping to cool down since Saturday but each day I'm getting progressively worse. To me boating, and this boat, isn't just toy, it's my passion and an in large the key to much of my happiness. Certainly my justification for busting my ass working as much as I do. To not have it how I want it pains me. I would just have kept my last boat and not traded in on this had I known this was coming.

Spoke with them tonight, it will be to a local body shop in the next couple weeks to get taken care of. I'm still uneasy but improving.

Congrats & beautiful boat! Question, how come you didn't want to tie the yellow into the interior? Like the welt or something? Like this...

Also does the Pacific Blue interior match the ultra blue metal flake?

Wonder how much the winter plastic wrap had to do with them scratches? Seems like your handling it the correct way and working with the dealer instead of just putting them on blast via internet. With the right product and tools them scratches will come out and look new.

Ya he said he was confident it would get buffed out. My worry is what a couple people who saw it said they didn't see how. I spoke for a while on the phone last night and he was very accommodating and knew where I was coming from. It's hard because it ultimately falls on the service department but as the face of the business he has to stand behind them. I am also just really bothered to have to spend all this extra time and gas money to deal with the issue that should not be an issue.
