Any Coin Collectors Out There?
I have done amazingly well with the metal detector.
I have accumulated a boat load of silver coins - Buffalo nickels, mercury dimes, barber dimes, quarters, dollars
also - 3 cent pieces, large pennies, indian head pennies, Wheaties, you name it.
Any coin collectors looking for anything specific?
PM me.

What metal detector do you have? I had a Tesoro that worked very poorly and gave it to a friend. I may try it again if I can find one that is a little more user friendly. Remember. metal detectors are banned in certain areas such as some national parks. Have a good Thanksgiving.

I have a Garrett AT Pro - nickname is "the coin shooter" and it certainly is (It is the machine used on the TV show "Diggers").
I also use a Garrett "carrot" pin pointer.
Both sell for about $600
I'm aware of the rules. In fact, I have permits from a few counties in Florida to hunt.
Playgrounds give up a lot of coins and jewelry.
Happy thanksgiving to you!Last edited by Ed_Geary; 11-23-2016 at 12:09 PM.
