    Default Replacing Ballast Pump

I have a 2006 Mobius LSV and my stock ballast pump(Rule 207F) finally died. I would like to upgrade to a little faster flow. Can anyone help me with a pump that would work? I only run the bag in the floor, no rear bags. Thanks!

quick search says that the 207f is a 1200 gph pump. To make it worth the cost, id look into the shurflo piranha 2000 gph pump. However, you will need to contend with the piranha's 1" threaded MST inlet adapting to where the rule 1200 with its .75" MPT inlet was. Johnson has a 1600 GPH pump that uses a 1" FPT inlet which might be easier to adapt. But, its a big heavy pump as it has a bronze base.

Can't go wrong. I have 6 of these on board and have no complaints after 6 years.

Have been tempted to double up with pumps on a future ballast upgrade but reluctant to drill more or bigger holes under the water line.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
