I went with 20 ft wide by 9 ft tall. Its pretty easy to get it in there!

I would go 12' wide minimum. Our 3rd car garage has a 10' door and my Mobius LSV fit just barely- the trailer guides rubbed on both sides! Not even an inch to spare.

Folder down tower I am sure an 8' height would work, but I would just go 9-10' on the height if you can. Only issue here is that your garage side walls need to be at least a foot taller to accommodate the header..so you're looking at 10-11' walls..

I did a 12x10 for the boat and a 8x10 for the truck. 14ft ceilings.

Yeah probably 9 foot since it will have a loft with dormers so 10 ft ceilings first floor 8 ft ceiling s second floor

Tight, but no issues. As long as the trailer is straight there is clearance on each side.

    Default Garage door sizes

I would consider Dusty's setup as the best. I had to change dry storage spots when I went from 2014 to 2016 mojo because not tall enough. The new boats sit higher on trailer and towers are taller. Why build a shop that you have to lower tower every time? Unless there are some hoa restrictions in the way. Taller is better!

Its only for winter storage at lake house and need second floor loft so 12 to 16 foot door is out of the question.

Gotcha. Going to be nice setup. Leave room for poker or pool table!

I will be building a garage/shop soon as well. I too will be going with a loft but only the back half of the garage so I can keep the tower up. Still have the space the loft provides and makes everything easier. I have the Z5 bimini which is a pain to remove everytime.
