I put one of these cameras on my truck and my motor home and then I replaced my rear view mirror in the truck. It works well and it shows the hitch when hooking up. I couldn't find the backup wire in the cab so I ended up running the wire from a backup light with the camera cable into the cab. Pull the pillar cover and pull the headliner down a little and feed the wires through. The disadvantage is the rear view mirror/screen doesn't have the tilt feature for night driving. I use it mostly for hooking up trailers and seeing the water level when backing into the launch.

Rode my new ski last night! All I can say is WOW!
That and - oh yes I can see new PB's getting set early in the season and good things coming this year!
