Not many DD boats being built anymore. Nautique, Malibu and Centurion? Does MC still make one? My LSV skied really well, but not as good as a DD. My SA is skiable also but for a die hard? no way....

Nautique still makes both an open and closed now. MC makes one with a removable bow cover. Dunno about others

Mastercraft and Nautique will always make a direct drive ski boat. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Personally I traded my 99 Mobius for an 09 Prostar 197. Both solid boats , but the MC is more sturdy, better 22 bump, and Zero off.

My coach is an MC dealer so I always get to ski behind a new MC twice a year.

Thanks for taking me serious - but I already knew Moomba had bailed on real ski boats.
