Perko Battery Switch QUestion
If I have the Perko switch do I need to disconnect my batteries at the end of the season?

If a dual battery switch, regardless of brand, is wired correctly, there is no need to disconnect the batteries. OFF disconnects all loads from the batteries, except the auto bilge.

If possible, take them out and recharge over the winter for longer life.
Unless you have an onboard charger.

If you do take the batteries out of the boat, do not-DO NOT, store them on concrete floors or directly on the ground. Concrete and ground contact will suck all life out of a battery in weeks.
