Default Gas smell from ski locker

Just got a 2007 Mobius LSV and when I open the ski locker I can smell gas. It is dry as far in there as I can tell and I can't smell it anywhere else.
Is it something I should have looked at or be concerned about? You can only smell it if you bend down near the ski locker.
    Thanks!

    1. Run your blower for a good amount before starting the boat!
I had this same problem with my MB, took me forever to find out it was leaking from the top of the gas tank when we were full.

I would try to figure it out. Fuel vapor in a contained area is an explosion hazard. This is why all electrical components in a boat (at least in the engine bay, bilge and confined spaces) must be "marine rated".

I had a small hole in one of the tank filler hoses:

There has also been some common reports of some leaks at a fuel line fitting (last post by 996scott has a picture):

On these LSV's, there isn't a perfect sealing divider between the locker and the the bilge area, so it could be that a bit of fuel is leaking from the engine area and then going along the hull to the locker area.

Until you find it, you'll have to decide your comfort level. If it were me, and the smell was small and limited to the ski locker... I'd probably be OK with continuing to operate but I'd be careful. Like Josh said, be sure to run your blower for several minutes before starting and I would open the locker to let it air out.

definitely make sure you check the "U" shaped metal gas line coming from the fuel pump for a cracked female nut. After finding mine it looks like it was a fairly common problem for the 07s. The new part is about an inch longer so you have to actually slide the fuel pump down to accommodate the longer fuel line. Very easy to do. If you do determine this is your problem and have questions let me know. I just did it and I have the exact some boat.

I pulled up the floor and had a good look around. I did not see or smell anything...
I am not sure where the U shaped gas line is to check it. The pic on that thread is not coming up for me.

it is in the area right under the oil filter on the starboard side of the boat. If you follow the fuel line from the fuel tank back it will go right up into the bottom of the fuel pump. The U shaped line is on top of the fuel pump.

If you feel around, you should be able to smell gas on your hand.
I assume it would leak when pressure is in the line or when you shut-off of the motor after running.

    Looks like this:
