    Default '05 Outback Speaker Problem

I was trying to replace the speakers in my Outback and the stock speakers seem to be a different size than 6.5". Anybody have a solution to fix the fact that my new speakers won't cover the holes in the material. Thanks for any pictures and tips in advance.

I went with a 6 3/4 inch speaker. I had to dremmel out the opening, because it's a 6 1/2 inch size. You might be able to get a trim ring from an audio shop. It might cover the extra vinyl area. I know a few guys have done that. Hope this helps.
