How bad did I mess up?
Ok so just got my dream Moomba... 4 state drive there and back with no problems and as soon as i go to park it in the garage I do this.

Gel coat repair. You can do it yourself but it requires some extensive sanding to get the finish looking good again, once you apply the new gel coat in that hole.

How about some kind of one sided sticky padding stuck on that area? I can't be the only one to do this... As soon as I lifted the tower they both just fell and bam!

Get some gator step or hydro turf for the gunwhales.

Filling the holes is up to you. I wouldn't, but I understand the desire. I made some transom pads with left over hydro turf after I re-did my swim deck. It has worked out very well.

There's a product called aquamend you could use just to smooth it out so there isn't a small indention

Thanks guys! I feel a bit better about it now. Will get some aquamend and I have some agenda surf on the way.

I would order a Spectrum Color patch paste kit. It will match the gelcoat you have now.

Mine had little dings almost that bad on both sides right from the dealer when it was new. No one ever really noticed on my hull color. I added some step pads to cover and it made me very happy!
