Shaft alignment
Hi all,
I have recently just purchased a 2004 Mobius LS, it is my first inboard boat that I have owned. I was just wondering if I could get a few tips on some general maintanence that I need to keep an eye on. Some of the things that I am curious about are how often do I have to check the shaft alignment, how often do I have to check the strut bearing (cutlass bearing). Any other tips for a new inboard boat owner are always welcome!
Thanks in advance!

GREAT! thanks for the thread so it looks like one a year I should at least check the shaft alignment. In regards to the shaft bearing any idea on how a person can tell when that needs to be replaced?

If you mean the strut bearing, it can't be very often. I've never heard of anyone replacing one unless they were replacing the whole strut after it was bent from contact.
