How is the rough water ride? It might just be me, but it looks pretty flat up front.

The boat rides a little rough in rough water. That is to be expected with the hull design, it is designed to push water for surfing, not slice through it like a ski boat. I have found that adding a little bow weight and messing with the trim helps reduce the effect greatly. If you are looking for a boat to cruise around the lake this is not it. But if you want a good and simple stock surf wave this is a great choice.
