    Default prop shaft replacement

    so I'm removing my prop shaft after hitting a log the other night I'm just about to remove the flange that bolts to the v drive my question is at such a time i get a new drive shaft (if it is bent) does it just slide back in and the dripless shaft seal just automatically seal. its on a 2013 obv

    Your new shaft will come with instructions that say to tape over the threads so you don't damage the seal and put a little marine grease on the tape before you slide it through. Good luck!
