    Default Bow Protectors

I made the mistake of letting some guy I just met drive my boat onto the trailer this weekend. He obviously has a little different loading technique than me. I usually stop a foot or so short and then kill the motor and reel it the rest of the way. Well he continued forward until the boat contacted the rubber cone a little off to the side. The edge of the rubber actually cut a pretty ugly 8 in. long scratch in my bow. First, will I have any luck trying to get Skier's Choice to repair the scratch as I do not believe the cone should have done such damage? Second, has anyone installed a bow protector (ie. Hamby's or any other)? I would love to see a picture and know if they come in any color besides black. I'm not sure that it will look that good but will definitely be better than the scratch I have now.
