Question How to replace the carpet on 2004 Moomba Mobious LSV

There are few screw currently that screw the entire floor to the rest of the boat, but when I try to pry that out it gives me the feeling that I will crack the flooring!!

I can not find anything on the web anywhere how is the floor assembled and what is the proper way of replacing the carpet. I'm sure I can simply cut the existing carpet out and glue another, but it will not look good since the current carpet wraps underneath the flooring.

Default How to replace the carpet on 2004 Moomba Mobious LSV

There's around 15 to 20 screws to remove I took the seat out to make it easier to handle.

Thank you so much for replying to this!!!
Is the floor base made out of fiberglass?
Did u ended up damaging any part of it when prying it our?
What tools did u use to pry it out after you removed the screw?
Was there a specific spot u started first from in order to get it easier out?

There's screws that go in sideways under the rear seats. They'll probably strip..

Yes it's fiberglass. I started from the back and just pulled it up. I only had screws on the top of mine. I didn't have any trouble taking it out.

As posted above, once all the obvious top screws are out, you need to get the side screws under the rear left/right seats. Once those are out you lift/pull from the back backwards. The entire floor in my 2005 "sleeves" under a single point. If you were sitting in the seat it would be top left point, right next to ski locker.

I cut mine underneath the molding and slipped the edges of the hydroturf under there to create a seamless look. I did remove the ski locker door and the two floor panels so the whole exposed floor was replaced (2008 LSV so different floor but you get the idea). You can see the results in post #100 in this thread. Good luck!
