Roger. Ok, last one for now until I hear about Blackcup's buddies thoughts...what about the Hyperlite HiFi? Read some promising reviews in some other threads and there are some slightly discounted factory blems available for sale in the mid 400's.

Board is an amazing skim board. I have that too 😀 Rides better than any board I have ridden. Even better than P5 Hammerhead.

What's hard to believe? I have ridden atleast 25 different boards over last 4 years and this is by far my favorite and best. Thanks fast as hell, rail sharp, spins 720s with ease. I recently road boat hammerhead and my hifi side by side in June and wasn't impressed with $750 board.

I own both a phase 5 danielo diamond 51" and a 53" hifi (2016 model). I def woundnt say the hifi is a better board. I think the dd is a bit faster but a bit easier to break free. Most that have rode both boards on my boat agree the dd carves harder but the hifi seems a touch more stable. I think like many boards out right now it just comes down to taste, style, and experience.

I will say the hifi is a super badass board. I just wouldn't go as far as calling it outright better than a phase5. Same level...perhaps...not better
