Packing log jam nut size?
I'm hoping most moombas have the same size... I will be picking up the boat this weekend and heading straight for the lake. I saw that it is dripping too much (once per second). It would be nice to know I have the correct size wrench before I leave home. Does anyone know?
Also, I noticed that the floor behind the motor box has front to back seams. Is there a removable panel there that would give me better access to the drive shaft?

You will probably need 2 wrenches, u could use large channel locks or pickup plumber wrench

Not having owned a inline, I would expect a panel access as you describe.2014 Mojo Surf

Ah, got it. That wrench looks like it would do the trick. Thanks for that tutorial link... illustrates the job very well.

I thought there were changes in the floor since my 98 came out to get to the packing nut. I have to remove the floor which includes removing everything that sits on the floor which are the engine cowling and the rear panels. I would leave all that stuff at home and adjust on the water being careful not to get caught up in moving parts. Fortunately, I replaced the wax cord in 2004 and I have only needed one adjustment since then. Stay away from the wax cord as there are other alternative material that works much better.
