JVC KD-X31MBS head unit
Thinking of getting a new head unit. The JVC KD-X31MBS.
Has anyone purchased one of these, and if so:
does it fit in the same hole as the factory radio
can you still use the factory remotes (2009 Outback)

They are both a standard DIN, so yes, it should be a direct swap in that regards. No, the kenwood or any other brand remotes, will not work with it.

Its a decent unit for that price point. Not the best blue tooth range and sound quality out of the other integrated BTs. They work good for a simple simple system or one thats going to have some form of zone control/line driver. For a step up, I like the Clarion M303 or M505.
