dock edge protector opinions wanted
I need to protect the boat while tied up to our dock. Looking for something that is continuous for about 23'. From your experience what works best? Here are a few types I was looking at online. Would love to hear what has and what has not worked for you.

I used this stuff and am happy with it. http://www.overtons.com/modperl/prod...6-roll&i=71946
I looked at the wave but it seemed to be stiff and I worried about it scratching the boat. Maybe what you are looking at isn't stiff? I used other bumpers for the corners to cover from top to bottom. Also keep in consideration the water level rise and fall in your choice.2007 XLV Gravity Games

Depends on the dock and how long you need it tied up.
I use the post bumpers and have been happy, if your long term over nite etc, I would look into whips or the hydrolic arms on overtons to keep boat off of the dock.A Day at the Lake...Priceless

We ended up buying a couple 9' lengths of a bumper that is made out of fire house type material. It is 8" thick and so far we love it. I purchased it on Amazon
The boat lives on a lift. we just wanted something that ran the length of the dock that leads into the boathouse.

Hey Flee, can you hook me up with the Amazon link or something on this?
Hopefully we have our lift finally going in this Friday but on the outside of the dock I sure would like to have a bump rail to protect the boat when I want to just stop at the house for a bit and not use the lift.Malo <--- Means--Evil or Mean One. This explains a lot.

I couldn't figure out how to get a direct link off amazon. The part numer is
Item model number: DB4.CU25
Also if you search for "Taylor made bumper products" it came up. The 9'x8" is around $190
Like I said, so far the work great and seem like they will hold up for a very long time. Definitely would recommend and would buy them again. Hope you are getting settled in and are enjoying Georgia so far.
