So with buying a new 1500$ ECU for the boat I have decided to rewire my racks in the boat. When I first wires up my amps and stopped by a local car audio shop and they sold me cheap distribution blocks that worked with my 1/0 gauge wire. Well once my boat crapped out and noticed a battery terminal had melted off, I decided that it was time to revamp my setup with the help of mike.
I dropped those crappy distribution boxes, and the crappy crimps to some better stuff. One of the pics you can see was what happens to one of my 1/0 gauge wires that, I guess, didn't sit all the way in on the box and slowly started to come out.

Just to be thorough, make sure you are not using CCA wire (Copper Clad Aluminum). With CCA wire these type of issues will be continuous.
