1997 outback
Looking at a 1997 moomba outback. Are these fiberglass or wood stringers? Decent boats? Decent wake at all?

Not sure about the 97 but I have the 98 and there are no wood stringers. Decent waterski wake and OK on the wake boarding. Not much freeboard so ballast would be limited.

What do you mean by freeboard? Can some ballast be added?

The boat sits low in the water without any additional weight but weight could be added if you removed the rear seat. The boat was designed before ballast bags were ever used. I'm sure you could make it work.
