    Default Oil filter?

Got a 08 moomba mobius with a 325 assault and I'm wondering what oil filter I'm supposed to use. Are the filters supposed to be marine specified or is there such a thing? I thought this motor was a GM 5.7L so I figured I could use a ac Delco filter for that engine and order it from GM dealer or am I wrong? Also I'm unsure of the weight of oIL I need to use and what brand it needs to be or does brand not matter?

Can anyone tell me what this motor really is and what I need for an oil change?

    Thanks

There is a sticky in the HOW TO section with all the specs, etc. for your engine, which is a Chevy 5.7L. Here's a link to what you need:

BTW, if someone remembers what size cotter pin that was somebody asked about the other day I'll add it to the thread along withe the prop nut info.

OK I work at a dealership and we stock the PF25 but it's the classic version. It's not blue like typical filters from ac Delco are,it's white and it has a big red AC logo and says full flow. I assume this will still work.
So my other question is..I'm seeing some stores selling marine grade oil. What is the difference in marine grade, Conventional, and synthetic?

Kane, how can I tell if my engine has catalytic converters? I thought it did but after reading the manual I found on indmars site I'm thinking differently.

the 325 Assault does not have Cats, only the 340 with a black intake. Yours should have a plastic cover on top of the engine and then a round flame arrestor under that.
