Did the mattress still have the tag attached after the encounter as required by law?

The location was on the Upper James River in Richmond, VA.
We get some debris but it's usually sticks and smaller logs.
The average depth is about 9 feet.

Been there many times. I live 10 minutes from Watkins. I'll keep an eye out for the rest of bedroom and other furniture from now on.
