Default Manual flow vs. Auto Tab flow

I can't seem to find a good thread on this (maybe I'm missing it), but has anyone surfed both? I have no need for switching sides and actually like the simplicity of the manual system but concerned that the tabs create a 'drastically' better wave. I'm a noob and mainly wakeboard but can see more surfing in my future as I get older.

    Thanks in advance - Chad

You need a Supra with the SWELL system. A lightly used SG 450 would be perfect.

I was thinking more in the lines of the auto flow is easier to setup and to compare the two surf wakes ......etc...

But your reply is effective also....

I can't speak on the Auto Flow but if I had the chance to do it again I would have waited for Auto Flow had I known it was coming out.

I don't mind adjusting the Manual Flow for the riders, but Auto is always Nicer.

As for Wave Quality, hard to Say because Auto Flow came out on the New Mojo 23ft if I recall, slightly different Hull so a comparison to the wave isn't exactly a fair comparison.

I have surfed a 14 Mojo with manual flow and a 2015 Craz with auto flow. Different boats but personally I really liked the auto flow wave and how easy it was to get right. The manual is good but the auto is just a better system, IMO.

Default Manual flow vs. Auto Tab flow

I been looking at adding my own system with trim tabs that are the same size as auto flow system. I found a site that sells the lenco tabs for about a 1/4 of the price or less than what Skiers choice wants. Plus I have a 2013 LSV and told auto flow won't fit. So I am having a hard time believing that since there are so many variations out there now and even seen people run Surf gate systems after being told the same thing.

Where have you seen the Lenco tabs for a 1/4 of the price?

    Thanks Rory

No kidding.....please share that knowledge. I'm going to try and do Lenco's as a winter project.
