Which Prop? 1235 or 2079?
Boat was very sluggish trying to pull a wake boarder with full ballast. I wasn't expecting that with all the hype of the Raptor motor.
I hear nothing but great things on the 1235 prop. Haven't heard to much on the 2079.
Would like some help here please!

Check with wakemakers. I'll have to check what prop I switched mine out to last year. Couldn't plane out with full ballest and 8 onboard.

Yeah, I'd check with wakemakers or nettles. Seems odd that a smaller boat with a bigger motor and basically the same ballast setup won't get up and go though... my Mojo did fine with the stock OJ prop. I will say though, the 1235 was a huge improvement at least in my case. What did your RPM's look like? Any check engine light? I guess I could understand if you had all that ballast full and had 6 or more adults on the boat...

The 2079 is very similar to the 1235 the cup is different so it has the same bottom end but you don't loose quite as much top end. I put this on our lsv last year but ordered our mojo with the 1235

We went from the 537 to the 1235.

If you're considering the 2079, I'd recommend going to the 2315. It's the same pitch and cup, but is a 15" instead of 14.5". A few guys who've gone from the 2079 to the 2315 described it as going from old bald tires to brand new tires.

Sam here - I just bought the 1235 from Nettles to upgrade from the 537 that came on my 2014 LSV (which was billed as the "upgraded prop" - I wonder what the stock one was??). With an additional 1,000 ballast that I added with 900lbs rears and a 500 lbs IBS I figured the 1235 was definitely the way to go. It just arrived yesterday but sadly I can't get up to the lake until after the 4th of July, so I'll swap it over then.
What kind of change did you see when you swapped over your 537 to the 1235? I hear the low-end torque is massively improved ....

Which Prop? 1235 or 2079?
I know mine is an oj but not sure which model. It was very embarrassing not getting on plane.
RPMs were around 3500 wakemakers has free shipping and no tax. Nettles was cheaper but charged shipping so it was actually more money.
Good to know, I originally wanted the 2315 but on wakemakers it said for heavily weighted setups tongi with the 2079.

RPM's 3500? Wide open throttle? Per the manual, you should be between 5000 - 5400 RPM (towards the top of this spec range is better). I'd have some serious questions if my boat was topping out at 3500 RPM's with what is essentially stock optional ballast (since you're half full) and 6 adults (boat is rated for 13)! Anything the boat came equipped with prop wise should be able to get up on plane easily with the load you noted.

Not surprised you need a bigger prop. I wouldn't blame the Raptor it has 400 torque but the Surf Edition 345 is HP and it also has almost 400 Torque.
I would have to look at my prop on my Mojo but its a LOT bigger then a 1235. I don't think its the 2079, I think I had the 2079 on my LSV.
In my Mojo when I surpassed the 3K ballast for Surfing I got a bigger prop, just easier on the engine and fuel consumption.Malo <--- Means--Evil or Mean One. This explains a lot.
