    Default Moomba Cooler issues

Over the past few weeks our Moomba cooler hasn't been keeping ice like it used to. Within a few hours all of the ice is melted. Before you could keep a bag of ice ALL day without an issue at all. It is also leaking water out of the bottom of it.

So I opened it up and the bottom has multiple tears in the grey plastic liner. We have only had this cooler since July of last summer and already it needs to be replaced.

Anyone else have this issue? We never put anything sharp in it ... cans only ... so I'm not sure where the tears are coming from.

When I first saw what we got for the $100 option I wasn't impressed at all ... but then I saw the cooler work and it was totally worth it. Now its garbage.

Ours did the same thing, it not resides in the Attic.

You could just put another bag inside the cooler, I know this isn't ideal but it is what it is.

The reason it doesn't keep things cool is because all the cold water leaks out. This happened the second or 3rd use of the cooler.

We now use soft sided collapsible coolers we got at Costco.

We use 2 of these, I put a 30 pack of brew and 16lbs of ice in it and it lasts all day, including reloading beer through it.
The other we stack water, soda food in.

Mmandley, do both of those coolers you use fit under the Mojo seats?

Thanks guys will look into both options ... for anyone else thinking of adding the $100 cooler option to your Moomba don't bother. It's a POS.

Yes they could technically, but I set them at the edge of the walkway to the bow. To hard to make people move every time someone wants a drink. The small door on top is awesome for fetching drinks and but letting all the cold out.

Our cooler from 2012 is still holding out strong. We pulled the igloo cooler out of the SG and are still using the AO every weekend.

Our cooler of choice, besides the Coleman stackable that fits under the open area in the xlv.
