    Default replaced crappy tower light

    Thanks so much for the reply. You explained it well enough, I was just verifying my next step. I do have some very long drill bits. I can probably drill from one side and get thru both sides of that flat cross bar.

    996scott Question for you. When you drilled the two holes into the top of the pylon, did you have to thread them?

    To tell you the truth i can't remember for sure but i really don't think so. I think i may have just drilled the hole and then used a self tapping screw.
