Auxiliary switch
The acc switch that is on the dash I'm assuming is a auxiliary switch for extra accessories. It is plugged in the back and goes to the wire cluster and goes into a wire clip. How would I go about hooking into that for additional lights.

The ACC switches on my 07 gives power to the 12v accessory outlets. One I think is in the glovebox and the other is somewhere on the driver's console. Basically they operate the "cigarette lighter" power outlets. Only used them a couple of times to run an air pump for filling tubes. Might be different on the newer models, but I doubt it.
You can use those wires if you want using a tap or a splice without affecting functionality of the accessory outlets. Something like this:

I just tapped into existing wires on my fishing boat when I added LEDs for nighttime fishing.Last edited by Poison; 07-09-2015 at 03:23 PM.
