Food on the boat? What? There is room for food on your boat?

I take all the carbs I need in the cooler, liquid carbs.

Homemade salsa when everything is in season and cilantro/lime shrimp from Costco. Football season, brots on the grill and take along the 32" flat screen, inverter and a long extension cord.

Default Boat Food. Any cool new ideas for us?

We grille hot dogs, wrap them in foil, place in a ziplock bag and throw them on the dash, stay hot all day.

We also pick up chicken express tenders, cut up summer sausage and cheese

Daughter works at Subway. I regularly come rolling out of there with six foot longs for under $20.

I figure the 2000 calorie intake from liquid gold covers the rest.

Pizza can be delivered to the ramp if you know who to call.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Normally what shows up on the boat, at no real concern to me is,

Bag popcorn <we call it crack corn>
    BBQ Fritos Twists
    Beef jerky
Large container of fruit, watermelon normally with mint in it.

Boat crew brings anything from home made sandwiches, subway, energy bars, mixed nuts, dried fruits.

Basically I am ok with most things, if its messy you sit on the swim deck, if its the dreaded orange, yellow, red, you stain it you replace it.
Chocolate normally a first time guest idea and they learn real fast why its a bad idea on the boat as they drink that candy bar from the wrapper.

We really enjoyed brining the sandwich fixins and using Kings Hawaiian Rolls. The wife hits up a restaurant supply store and gets the individual mayo packets.

Costco has "steak strips" that are even better than jerky.

    Thanks for the new ideas!

We always do Buffalo Chicken Dip with tortillas for when we are anchored up, but when the grill comes out the possibilities are endless.

Wrap your brats in tin foil and place them on your manifolds. I use to do this with burritos all the time when wheeling.
