    Default Hard to turn left?

Seems like I'm turning the steering wheel on an old 55' Oldsmobile without power steering when I'm idling and trying to turn left. When I'm under way it's not as noticeable but I can tell a difference from turning right.

Cuts through like butter when I turn right.
Cuts through like steak when I'm turning left.

Is this just the nature of the beast or is something effed up?

(This is my first V Drive boat) thanks!
