New Samson Powdercoat Tower Mount Arm & Cipa Extreme Mirror!
So I finally installed our Samson Oz HD tower mount arm with Cipa Extreme mirror this weekend. Popped it on Saturday morning and we skied and surfed all day with it. I installed it tilted it up on the tower so that we have plenty of room to see over the windshield (as I rarely look through the glass when I drive), but I lined the inside of the tower mounting clamp with electrical tape so I won't mark up the tower if I need reposition it later.
With it tilted this high, I'm not sure if it will fit under the Bimini once when we open it, but I figure we can always tilt it lower if it hits the Bimini. The wife is thrilled as she's been hounding me for a year to replace the windshield-mounted mirror that never worked well. Happy wife=happy life!
