    I tried a few different angles too and it didn't seem to make any noticeable difference.

    Using the clip pin in one end of the arm allows mine to fold pretty much flat so storage shouldn't be an issue at all.

    With the cheap cutting boards I think I'm only in for $60 and that is for BOTH the regular and goofy gates!! Hands down the best $60 I have ever spent on any boat!!!

    I forgot to get pics last weekend but I will get some over the 4th and post them.

    And the really nice thing is that its not really "attached" at all to the transom....it rests around the platform bracket and the bungie to the grab handle (along with the pressure of the wave) keeps it from falling off.

    I made it pretty tight around the platform bracket but otherwise the bungee and the force of the wake hold it place very well.

    Love the simplicity. Does it go all the way to the bottom of the hull on the side?
