Power hungry
I am looking to gain more power out of my 03 Outback LS. It has the 310HP carb. Has anyone upgraded from carb to EFI? What about head work?

Someone that barefoots said you need a 340 to get 5 mph more out of these boats. I'm not sure it is worth the fussing.

Have you considered changing the prop? A 4 blade low pitch SS prop can make a big difference in the way the boat performs. Acme also sells a 3 blade prop that allegedly has more surface area then a 4 blade and supposedly works best on DD’s
