What an awesome product for a UTV/ATV/golf cart, etc. where speaker mounting locations can be few and poor.
Powered versions and Bluetooth connectivity. They sure made it easy.
However, you do have to reconcile what this product was intended for against your expectations for projecting. At wake range I would say no.

If it is using some sort of waveguide or line array technology a system like this could potentially outperform even the largest can speakers.
In the pro audio world (in which I am a paid professional) I can hang 12 boxes of 8" element speakers and outdistance/perform a hang of 4 15" boxes.

Those would be sweet on a side by side, golfcart, rv etc. Love the design. You may be able to turn them on craigslist to a guy that's looking speakers for that exact application, and put the $ towards a good set of towers that would better suit your needs. I agree with these guys, there's no way your going to get the sound you want out of these for a boat application.
PWI as usual...
