Speakers for the Razor (Help)
My older brother is adding a stereo to his new 2015 Polaris Razor and is working to understand what speakers to use. I explained to him about this group and offered to post the question and ask for your help.
He has purchased a Jensen MS 30 RTL due to its size and price. Looking for a set of exterior grade speakers at or about 4" outside dimension with some mounting hardware to be mounted on the roll bar (under roof).

I'd recommend going to a forum like http://www.rzrforums.net/forums.php. There are some systems out there including OEM that looked good.

You should enjoy this:
The DiamondTops roof has been treated with Hushmat for improved sound quality and holds 2 pair of JL Audio MX650CCX marine speakers, powered by a JL Audio HD600/4 amplifier.
Each speaker is lit up with RGB color-changing LED's.
In the cabin we have a pair of JL Audio MX650CCX marine speakers, each lit up with a RGB color-changing light ring. The speakers are mounting in SSV Works kick panel pods.
Behind the seats is a hidden subwoofer enclosure by SSV Works containing a JL Audio 10W1v3 subwoofer, powered by a JL Audio HD750/1 amplifier.
The subwoofer enclosure grille is illuminated with RGB color-changing LED's
2 pair of JL Audio M770ETXv2 7.7" marine speakers are mounted to the roll cage with JL Audio's new swivel mounts (available soon, these are pre-production prototypes). These speakers are powered by a JL Audio HD600/4 amplifier.
Each speaker is lit up with RGB color-changing LED's.
Rear-facing Pro-Lights dual-row combination flood/spot LED bar.

Would have been great if they stopped with just the roof. What a waste.

Should never put speakers (i.e. subwoofers) below the engine air intake level for a reason (gurgle gurgle). Should never put speakers where your feet and head may go. And never go out on the trail with the stereo blasting as the Greenies would have more to whine about besides our engine noise. And it irritates the deer.

That side by side is completely over the top and ridiculous.
I love it!

Nice clean install. I've seen alot more ridiculous for sure! Bet it sounds good.
I'd wager it's not going to be driven through roof high mud puddles nor rock climbing with the likely ending being crunched up on it's top.

It belongs to Odin and I suspect it has never left his lot.
I'm also guessing that there are two speakers zones just to demonstrate what is available.
