Hmmmm something isn't right. The Exile site shows this:

    SXT9Q SPECIFICATIONS
    Size and Weight
Hanging Height: 10.25 inches (260.35 mm)
Speaker Height: 9.0 inches (228.6 mm)
    Width: 8.875 inches (225.425 mm)
    Depth: 9.5 inches (241.3 mm)

Hanging Weight: 6.1 pounds (2.7 kg)

And then for the SXT65Q it says this:

    SXT65c Technical Specifications
    Size and Weight

Hanging Height: 10.25 inches (260.35 mm)
Speaker Height: 9.0 inches (228.6 mm)
    Width: 8.875 inches (225.425 mm)
    Depth: 9.5 inches (241.3 mm)

Hanging Weight: 6.1 pounds (2.7 kg)

They are exact same. Obviously an error. Anyone know the exact dmensions on the sxt9?

Yeah it was a web error. Found the proper measurements on another page:

    SXT9Q

    Hanging Height 10.5 in
    Speaker Height 9.9 in
    Speaker Width 10.0 in
    Speaker Depth 10.2 in

    REV 10

    Front-Back Depth: 13"
    Hang Height 11 9/16"
    Width: 10 5/8"

Odd than you are comparing the sizes of an 8-inch surf speaker (SXT9Q) to a 10-inch HLCD (Rev10).
The Wetsounds Icon8 is the size and type equivalent to the Exile SXT9Q. Both 8-inch surf speakers with similar pod mass.
    The Wetsounds Icon8 dimensions are:
    Hang height 9 9/16"
    Width 8 3/4"
    Depth 11 1/2".
So the Icon8 and the SXT9Q will have about the same displacement but the shape is different.
The Exile pods are wide and shallow while the Wetsounds pods are narrow and deep.

The only reason I was comparing is because I got to see the Rev 10 in the store.

Just getting my build done and I would no doubt do the led rings and.wiring NOW. For the minimal increase in cost I couldn't imagine pulling it all back off to add them! I'm extemely happy with 1pr of 10s and wiring is all there if I want to slap on a 2nd sometime down the.road. doubt I will but it's ready
