Welcome and good luck with your shopping. Our first boat was an I/O, which a lot of people on here started with. We upgraded to a 2006 LSV and have loved it ever since. I think the 2005 has a different hull design then the 2006. As far as surf wave on ours, it's decent, we have the GIII system and have upgraded all the bags to larger bags, 800's in the rear lockers, 650 in the floor, and currently using a 400 in the bow. That being said we've had some great wakes with this setup.

We have been very pleased with our Moomba it provides all the performance we want and we see no reason for us to replace it any time soon and if we did it would probably be for a Mojo.

Seems to be over priced. I just purchsed a 2005 Moomba Mobius LSV with 300hrs for $19995 with only some cracking in the gelcoat around the push arms of the trim tabs. No that expensive of a fix. Has all the options available and it is certified pre-owned.

Not bad, small pocket, needs a lot of ballast, we learned to surf on my 02 LSV, same as the 05. Good starter boat but you'll quickly out grow it..

If your looking to surf your want a 06 or newer LSV, they're larger and have a much better surf wave. You could also add the flow surf system. No one has installed one yet so we're not sure how well it works on the LSV.

Sorry I can't check links posted here, that is WAY over priced for on older LSV, pre 06...

I have an 03 LSV which, I believe, is the same hull. The surf wave is great, for the size of the boat, once you dial it in. I built a surf gate for mine and it the difference is remarkable. The wakeboard wake can be a little weight sensitive but very decent. I have surfed and boarded behind an 06 LSV and it is nicer, but definitely comparable. Good luck with the purchase.

If the one in Vancouver is Canadian dollars, that puts it around $23,900 US. With some bargaining, that's not far off. I sold my 05' LSV for $23,500 a year ago.

What are the chances you can post a pick of your surf gate?
