Default Hello, My name is Mike and I have a truck buying obsession.

Haven't finished the house project and your piling up the truck projects!! Have fun.
I ordered smoke cab lights to replace the Orange. That's as far as my mods have gone.

The first crew cab truck 06 F350 was a long bed. So I got used to it.
Once we startedgoing to Lake Billy all the time we used about 6ft and that left enough room for Oso.

Went to F150 with 6.5 ft and we had to load the boat with gear. I personally only want water gear in the boat.

Also for myself and Claudia we prefer the look of a LB vs SB on a super crew

    Yup, lol.

Main thing is. The power steps.its a good stretch or hop into the truck. No side steps is an inconvenence to the pleasureable entrance and exit of the truck lol

The amp steps are the best out there. I like them better than the factory ones gm has. they are very simple and customer support is top notch!

Had to order an Air Tank Relocation Bracket Kit. $65 because since I have the Auto Air Leveling rear suspension the on board air tank is in the way lol Good ole Forums. Was a long thread on the Cummings forum about it.

The Amps are slick and the news ones are plug and play, no more wire tapping. I have them on mine, but had to tap the wires, that was more of a pain then putting the steps on themselves. Nice thing is they are on in this picture, but you can't see them.

That was one of my first mods, the wheel/tire combos from the factory can leave a little to be desired.

I was torn over the Plug and Play or hard wired steps. I choose the Hard wired version. Mainly because I didn't want a plug and ply on my OBDII port.

I agree on the wheels and tires needing an update. I just can swallow the fact I am tossing 4 brand new tires and that actually decent tires. They do look a little narrow under the truck but even the 34-35 would only be 1 inch wider. I could get new rims but I want to step up to 20s, so that means tires and rims.

Here is the most recent pic, got the tint done.
Just picked up the boat from AWS, Yes the rear is sagging. Thats the LOAD ME UP position. When I start the truck it auto levels. I can also drop the bed to 30 inches to allow easier loading of things in the bed. Pretty sweet.
