    Default Extended Bimini?

    So our Mondo's Bimini offers no shade...does moomba make an extended Bimini of anyone use any aftermarket ones? Thanks!

    I recall reading a previous thread where Bergermaister had a custom bimini built for his boat. You might could check with him.

    I take it you're talking about off the front of the tower the bimini isn't doing much for you?
    So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

    Agree with Viking. My buddy's Malibu has about 18-24" extended off the front of the tower with a rigid bar setup (kind of separate from the rear section of bimini) that he can leave on at freeway speeds but still take down in a few minutes if necessary. He leaves his bimini up 99.9% of the time though year round. Maybe something to look into and mimic.

    That extra couple feet makes a huge difference. He's bald and burns easy.
    So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
