Kneeboard should fit in the back storage (diagonally) even w/ ballast.

Ballast affect on storage space
My new 06 Mobius LSV is scheduled to arrive Friday. Its the same paint scheme as the promotional boat shown in all the photos (white, granite, blue). Includes following options:
Performance Pkg. (Indmar 325, Hydraulic WP, PP Wakeboard Pro)
Appearance Pkg. (Docking Lts, SS Rubrail, Cleats, GP Covers)
Gravity III Ballast
Tower Spkr Light Bar combo
Transom Remote
Rad-A-Cage cover
Rad-A-Cage Bimini
Racks
Mirror
Depth Finder
Needless to say, I am pumped but as I read more and more posts I think of more and more questions so hopefully you guys can help me out.
How does the Gravity III Balast affect storage space? Does it make the ski locker and back side engine compartments completely useless? Will it be safe/possible to store skis and kneeboard in the tower wakeboard racks? Will there be space for additional cooler(s)?

tn boarder. congrat on your purchase.
The 250 bags will use up almost all the space back in the locker. I now have 750 bags in each and there is no room in the back.
you might look into purchasing additional racks for the skis.

TN_Boarder,
We have an '05 Mobius LSV which has smaller rear storage compartments than the '06 model and I can still get my slalom ski in one and a kid size wakeboard in the other with the bags full. I think the '06 storage is a huge improvement, you should be good. As for the center storage (ski locker) forget about using it if you intend to fill the bag in that compartment (which is a must for boarding). The bag takes up the entire space. The only thing we store in that compartment is a few of the flotation "noodles".
The cooler option Joe posted is awesome; we use one very similar and store it behind the observer's seat or in one of the rear lockers. Either place works for ours.
If you want to store a ski on the tower you will need to buy a ski specific rack. Monster Tower makes one that is pretty nicely priced. Not sure about storing a kneeboard as I don't use one.
Congrats on the new boat!Jeff
