Outback Direct Drive Modifications

Hey, Viking - Please provide a full recap on modifications you made to your Outback. I continue to be real satisfied with my 2007, but open to making modifications especially if they are do-it yourself and/or within my budget. Everything except the driver stereo remote and LED cup holders is factory original. I have time and space to work on modifications this spring. Thanks! - Stuart

Sure - Glad to!
I swapped out my dull old black plastic through hulls with SS Through Hulls



Installed RED underwater LED. Bought it through group buy a few years ago. VisionX Marine.

Replaced all In-Boats with Polk 651's:


JL Audio Marine HD Amps in amp Rack with Cooling fans:

Bullet 770 HLCD Tower Speakers. Went with these because they had the lowest profile clamp to give up the least amount of headroom and polished cans. Great speakers!!


Head Unit upgraded as well with aux and USB inputs.

12 inch JL Audio Sub installed in sealed enclosure above the drivers helm hump. AND relocated the fire extinguisher.
