New XLV
Just wanted everyone to know I jumped in with both feet for a new 06 XLV. I bought an 02 Mobius DD new and loved it. Traded that in the other day and I am going to pick up my XLV today. Anyone that has one, I would like to hear how you like it or dislike it. I am a little worried about maintenence on the V drive as I loved the ease of the DD as far as working on it.

I have a 2005 XLV and am very pleased by it.
If you have an hour, read my impressions in this thread:

I have not needed any mechanical service on the V-drive.

I read your post and appreciate the input. I have about 5 hours on it now so it won't be long before I can see what it will do.

I had a direct drive and then a V-drive. Taking out the sides on each side of the engine is a pain in the ass but other that, It's great.
