I hit it with the power washers at the car wash to remove the meaty parts. In the spring I'll have the marina acid wash it. Probably have them wash and wax it to..

id clean now. Longer it sits out of the water and drys out, the harder it is to clean. Its was smart on your part to hit it with the pressure washer right out of the water.

The acid does the work, just spray it on. I have the marina do it so they can lift the boat off the trailer and get everything. You may need to let it soak a minute or two longer in the spring. At least that's how it's been working for my boat and marina..
Last year was actually worse, this is was done the next spring..
