Okay, I meant expensive in general. Expensive relative to building your own. But yeah, certainly a deal relative to the price of an OEM surf platform at retail.
I found that last comment odd. yeah, they need to respect their dealer network on new boats, but I've never seen any real need to do that on parts. My diy platform was close to $400. But everyone that sees it thinks it factory and don't believe I Built it. Most factory ones are $1200 and above.
