    Okay, I meant expensive in general. Expensive relative to building your own. But yeah, certainly a deal relative to the price of an OEM surf platform at retail.

    I found that last comment odd. yeah, they need to respect their dealer network on new boats, but I've never seen any real need to do that on parts. That said, I have no dog in this fight, so it matters not to me.

    My diy platform was close to $400. But everyone that sees it thinks it factory and don't believe I Built it. Most factory ones are $1200 and above.
