I put an 8" in my Jeep and one in my motorhome just to save space. I replaced the speaker and it made the sound a lot better.

I had one and installed it under the dash. It was ok. Did not hit that hard and with all the vibrations stopped working by the end of the season. Installed a JBL 10 in a box and never had an issue since.
