Sea Water Strainer

I just realized this year that my 07 OBV doesn't have a Sea Water Strainer. Can anyone help show the best location to install one?

Where ever you can get it to fit under the cover between the fresh water inlet and the vdrive inlet. Just find a place to splice it in using Straight and or 90 degree fittings. The last one I got from Grainger based on Moomba thread tip and fittings from locally tractor supply company.

your owners manual will show a photo of the strainer and description of location

at least page 60 of the 2009 OBV manual shows it.

thanks, I didn't even think to look at the manual. I checked the manual and it is located right at the inlet of the trans.
