I have a 2008 LSV . Does anyone have suggestions for optimal setup for wakesurfing both sides? I have both R and L foot preferences in the family. Thanks.

There are a lot of threads on that topic in this forum regarding ballast setups. But if you switch side to side I'd be looking into adding the Flow system.

We have a 07 LSV and surf both sides as well. We have 750s in both rear lockers and 400 in the floor ski locker. We fill the 750 surf side and the ski locker full. Maybe about 1/3 full on the opposite side rear locker. Wake plate up about 3/4 and about 9.5-10 mph. The more people in the boat including the bow the better. This works pretty good for us.

I'll mimic what Scott is saying. we primarily ski Port side so our setup is a little different. 800 in Left rear, 400 in right rear, 650 in ski locker and 400 in the bow. We don't have a lot of people on board with us which makes it harder to dial in the wake, but with the above bags all full and wake plate 3/4 we get a good surfable wave.

I run 1100 port side, 400 floor, 650 IBS, and 300 or less starboard (I drain that until the wave is clean) Wake plate 3\4... I cut the cooler out on the port side last year and put a 400 in that area which made a huge difference... I can get a perfect wave with just a driver and spotter now without that worthless cooler...

What cooler? Hahaha!! The idea of having a built in cooler is nice, but I usually fill a cooler in the cabin and bring it with, therefore never using the one on the boat. I might have to look into eliminating mine and putting a bag in there.

I would really recommend it... It made a huge improvement in my surf wave and a bit more storage when not surfing...
